Proposal Overview

This document is a project proposal for the game titled ‘A Coven of Cards’. It focuses on delivering an articulated overview of the design decisions that have been made concerning the title, along with any inspirations and philosophies that have shaped the ideas that build upon the title in question, and an overview of the system architecture, including core mechanics and their context within the game, created by game designers: @Momchil Kotev @Mateusz Stopczański @Mete Ruso.

The concepts we are working with focus thematically on the world of witchcraft. With a great deal of visualisation, we have discovered that the game we wish to create fits the genres listed below.

Genre: Deckbuilder survival rogue-lite RPG

This document will ultimately range from giving definitions to different terminology to giving a design overview of the game in question and proposing various design decisions that have been decided upon.

Various parts of the document will be written by one of the three designers listed above.
